LOVE YOURSELF.

You are not the opinions of those who do not know you- plain and simple. And in that light, don't give everyone the privilege of knowing everything about you. The best moments in life usually aren't captured by a perfectly posed Instagram anyway. Create a life with which you are so in love, whether you get 10,000 likes or 10 is irrelevant. Love yourself as is. No quick fixes. No plastic surgery. Imperfection is beautiful. Flaws make you REAL. Knockoffs are sold at a lower price for a reason: they aren't as valuable as the real shabang. Why be superficial when you can be one of a kind? Because the reality is, you can't fake class. You can't fake integrity. And you can't fake empowerment. Be authentic. Be original. Be YOU. Too many of the same basic clones on Instagram have nothing more to offer than their looks. And what they own. We live in this consumerist society that emphasizes the glorification of excess. Sometimes, less is more. Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Minimize. Leave something to the imagination. What is trendy is not always what is classy. True style is timeless. You can look chic in a T shirt and jeans. It's all up to you. Love yourself au naturale. Go a day or two without makeup. Let your skin breathe. Take a break from fast food and alcohol. Detox. Take care of yourself but remember- beauty is the icing. Not the cake. Crack open a book. Intelligence is enthralling. Be more than dumbing yourself down for the comfort of others. Give compliments. Understand that another woman's beauty is not the absence of your own. Know your worth. Stop obsessing over boys who do not value you. Love yourself enough to walk away from those who no longer serve you or grow you. Confidence can exist without ego.
