SCK + Summer

This body suit is my all time favorite piece as of late, not only because its classic nude color is super versatile, but the suit doubles as both a shirt and one piece swim suit.  Throw on a one-piece, high cut swim suit this summer - making a splash with a little something mysterious and different from the basic two piece revealing bikini.  Arm piece was found in a little boutique in Athens . . . arm cuffs are so fun for summer, and can easily be dressed up with a sleeveless maxi dress or done casual with a tank.

This lil arctic ski number with cashmere lined pockets and Finnish racoon fur trim was a steal from Keystone, Colorado.  The coat is true ski fashion - great for both skiing in as well as day to day wintry cold, keeping you warm in style.  Those familiar with cold weather know what a struggle staying warm / comfortable while maintaining a classy look can be!  Same goes for the moon boot - these fur and leather Italian styled boots are comfortable both to keep your feet warm and cozy after a long day of skiing or just to throw on with jeans on a snowy day.

Individualist: The turtle neck long sleeve is something I believe everyone should have as a staple in their closet, especially as the weather cools down and the air gets more crisp! This sheer, off white turtle neck is from the Individualist section in Nordstrom, and is great to pair with a scarf and jeans for casual every day wear.  Class up the turtle neck with a leather piece (pant or jacket) pair it with heels and your look is instantly dressed up.

Rag & Bone

This jacket, Randi by Rag & Bone, blends luxe drama with utilitarian style. It's boxy, cropped silhouette is cut from lustrous satin and detailed with a slouchy hood. A toggled drawstring cinches the hem, and a strip of leather details the centered zip - making the jacket whichever shape you like best. With a back vent to keep cool, this jacket works for day wear in Spring or Fall months.

The Prisma Skeletal belted backpack by Alexander Wang is my primary bag for trips and school.  With a smooth leather flap (bag is 100% cowhide) and signature metal closure along with Prisma skeletal corners in Rose Gold, the backpack fits a surprising amount of items from my laptop to my books and wallet. Back has an exterior pocket, and the straps are adjustable with a collar stud.  You could say this look was my Back-to-School Look for last fall. . . as well as being a convenience bag for whenever I have a few extra things to carry and need my hands free.

The blazer //  pant suit set is the ideal business staple I truly believe every woman should have in her closet.  Whether its pairing the suit with a simple black stretch T for work, or going out to an event looking chic and classic, the suit provides a look that is elegant and chic for almost all occasions and any time of the year.  I personally am in love with the suits BCBG MAX AZRIA makes, in that the sophistication and fit of a suit for me lies within the cut and tailoring of the piece.  BCBG tailors their suit blazers and pants keeping these very details in mind - as the cropped angle and slight shoulder padding of the blazer draws the eye inward to the waist.  The seem of the pant leg as it wraps around to the front of the foot - separating into a slit at the bottoms - guides the eye as well.  Plus, when going out or a special occasion, the slit at the end of the pant leg just gives you a reason to show off some fun shoes.

BB + Winter

Crop tops for winter are actually so fun to me.  In winter it is so unique to show a little skin, so pairing a long sleeve crop with a high waisted pant and a scarf does the trick on those warmer winter days.  Winter white is another one of my favorites, so whenever someone tells me white isn't a thing after Labor day it kind of goes in one ear and out the other. . . what can I say I love to break the rules.  Style isn't about rules and what's "in", it's about what you love and makes you feel good. x

Another one-piece look . . . I just can't get enough of 'em this summer.  There's something to be said for less is more - and I definitely think that the one piece is a timeless fashion statement that says just that.  The other upside to one piece bathing suits - toss a pair of jeans on with it and you're ready to go grab lunch.
